
Now that Volume 1 of
Avatar: The Last Airbender's Book 3 DVD has already been released, fans can look forward to the Volume 2 DVD. Nickelodeon and Paramount Home Entertainment have announced that the much awaited second installment will be available on January 22, 2008.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is an animated series that is set in an Asian-influenced world of martial arts and elemental magic. It centers on the adventures of the latest of a long line of Avatars,
Aang, and his friends in their quest to save the world.
The Volume 2 DVD continues the epic adventure of
Avatar after Aang and the rest of the gang enter the Fire Nation with the goal of secretly moving from island to island to the Royal Palace, where they will eventually face and attempt to defeat the Firelord. As they embark on their journey, they discover the people of the Fire Nation are not all that different from people from other worlds.
Inside the
Avatar: The Last Airbender, Book 3: Fire - Volume 2 DVD, fans can find five new to DVD episodes including the long awaited invasion of the Fire Nation, “Day of the Black Sun.” The set also includes "The Avatar and the Firelord", "The Runaway", "The Puppetmaster" and "Nightmares and Daydreams."
Like the first volume release, fans can also expect the second installment to have audio commentary tracks by the creators and crew, and other special features. Running time is more than two hours, and cost is expected to be at $16.99.
Meanwhile, fans can catch
Avatar: The Last Airbender on November 30 on Nickelodeon as it brings forth an hour-long TV movie entitled “Day of Black Sun.” Tagged by the network as the darkest day of the year, this special feature sees Aang and his rag-tag squad as they strike down the Fire Nation during the solar eclipse.
