Alexandra Chando was born on July 28, 1986 in Pennsylvania. She is an Emmy-nominated actress who plays the role of Maddie Coleman on the daytime soap opera As the World Turns. She also appeared in MTV's True Life: I'm Getting My Big Break.

Madeline "Maddie" Coleman is played by Alexandra Chando in As the World Turns. Maddie is the youngest in a family of eight. Her best friend is her older brother Henry Coleman. Since she was very close to him, she was determined to fix his marriage with his wife, Katie. Unfortunately, Katie was still in love with her ex-boyfriend Mike. Henry knew Maddie could complicate things so he arranged for her to leave but Maddie was so determined that she staged her own fall. Unfortunately, Henry fell instead of her so the outcome was the same--Maddie had to stay. After various attempts to ruin Mike and Kate's relationship, Henry told her to leave them alone because they really loved each other. Maddie also got caught up with Casey whom she loved but wasn't ready to have sex with. She unexpectedly broke up with him before they could make love. Casey took it against her and hung out with a girl named Lia, whom Maddie became terribly jealous of. She was so jealous that Maddie slashed Lia's car. She was arrested shortly after that.
