Today, the drama continues with Aaron as he helps Sofie with childbirth, while Sofie makes a decision about the future of her baby.  Additionally, Will and Gwen are reminded of the things they cannot have.

Further down the road, Katie (Terri Colombino) gets some bad news and her relationship with Brad (Austin Peck) gets an obstacle in the form of Jack (Michael Park), who is cooking up a scheme to come between the two.  Nevertheless, Vienna (Ewa Da Cruz) tries to get Katie and Brad back on track.

When Craig learned about the tape from the lab, he begins to act cold towards Meg (Marie Wilson) and turns her down when she invites him to bed.  Driven by revenge, he works on some research and gets a drug that causes a miscarriage.  Although Craig's plans are unknown to Meg, she eventually speculates that he is up to no good.  But just when Craig is about to start his vengeful plot, he begins to have second thoughts.

Alison and Aaron have rekindled their romance but it seems that trouble is coming their way.  After making love, Alison eventually pushes Aaron away.  While Alison and Aaron's affair goes awry, Luke (Van Hansis) and Noah (Jake Silbermann) move forward in their relationship.

Other spoilers for the week include Emily's (Kelley Menighan Hensley) stern warning to Dusty (Grayson McCouch) and Chris' (Dylan Bruce) decision to take over the care of Bob (Don Hastings).

So far, there are just some of the storylines waiting to unfold until Thursday on the long-running soap.  On Friday, December 21, Oakdale residents go back in time for a special holiday episode of As the World Turns.  As reported previously, this stand-alone feature will showcase the entire cast as they might have looked in Victorian times.  This episode kicks off with Faith, Natalie and Lucinda having just seen a performance of The Nutcracker.  As they walk through Old Town, they stop and see a dollhouse in a window.  Subsequently, the camera zooms into the dollhouse and takes viewers back in time.
