as the world turnsCBS will be launching a special fan club luncheon to give supporters of As the World Turns a chance to meet and greet their favorite actors.  The much awaited event will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 12pm to 4pm at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.  Tickets will cost $130 for non-fan club members and $115 for current As the World Turns fan club members.

Those who are interested will have to give out a $20 nonrefundable deposit per person, which will insure a seat. The final payment is due no later than March 1.
Any tickets purchased afterwards must be paid in full by money orders only.

Meanwhile, fans can also catch other As the World Turns cast member as they grace benefit events and make individual appearances.  Michael Park, who plays Jack Snyder on the soap, will be performing at Blend Bar in Ridgewood, New Jersey, along with several other bands on February 23.  The event, which also includes Terri Colombino, who portrays Katie Peretti, benefits the Autism Marble Jam Kids.

Park has bee playing the detective character on the soap since 1997 and has been nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award three times, and a Daytime Emmy Award twice.  Colombino, on the other hand, has been part of As the World Turns since 1998.  Her other credits include guest appearances on The Young and the Restless, Profiler, Malibu Shores, Step by Step and Brotherly Love.

Additionally, Park, Colombino and Martha Byrne, who plays Lily Snyder, will also grace the “When You Wish Upon A Star” event at the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla, New York on March 8.  The evening is expected to be a cabaret event with proceeds benefiting the Children's Hospital. The affair is scheduled to commence from 7pm to 10pm with tickets at $150.
