
Previously on

Van Hansis) and Noah (Jake Silbermann) had a terrible fight and though Noah tried to patch things up with him, he retreated as he saw Luke with a man who is obviously interested in him. Holden (
Jon Hensley) and Carly (
Maura West) ended up kissing and sharing yet another fraught moment when he applied ice to her when she burned her hand on the car engine. Upon returning home, Holden remained troubled by thoughts of Carly, while Carly found herself rattled by photos of Holden.

As Lily (Noelle Beck) and Holden share a close moment, Carly tries to hide her jealousy and pain. Carly also insists that Holden fight for his marriage as she suppresses her feelings for him.
After Sofie (Justine Cotsonas) overhears Meg (
Marie Wilson) mention the mistakes she has made at the hospital, a curious Sofie attempts to access a hospital computer to learn more about Meg's past. Hoping that Paul (
Roger Howarth) will come back to her, Sofie continues to dig some information about Meg and asks Cole to help with her plan to get rid of Meg. Eventually, she tries to set up Meg with some drugs that she gives to Barbara (
Colleen Zenk Pinter). However, Paul catches Sofie.
Elsewhere, Jack (
Michael Park) and Janet (Julie Pinson) seems to be getting even closer, leaving Brad distracted with Janet's friendship with Jack. At the same time, Katie (
Terri Colombino) questions if there is something going on with Brad and Janet.

After having dinner, watching basketball and falling asleep on the couch at Brad's place, Janet seems to get even more comfortable in Oakdale as she takes Katie's place in more ways that one. As expected, Katie returns home and isn't thrilled to find Brad and Janet together. Later, however, Jack decides to dig up some dirt on Janet.
Meanwhile, Jack isn't the only one doing some detective work this week. Meg and Paul also decide to check out Sofie's past. After gathering some background information on Sofie, Meg threatens to divulge all her secrets if Sofie doesn't back off on Paul.
Noah decides that he wants a romantic break from Luke. Nevertheless, Lily tries to bring Luke and Noah back together as she plays matchmaker. Lily also notices the attraction between Holden and Carly.
