Arrow -- arguably the best new show of the fall -- is nearly here. The superhero drama will premiere on The CW on Wednesday, October 10. But why wait? You can watch a preview featurette of Arrow right now!

WARNING: There may be Arrow spoilers in this video. There may not be. Just consider this a chance you have to take in your quest to learn more about this heroic television show.

Check out the Arrow featurette video here:

  • "Arrow is a story about a superhero who is real!" You have to live Stephen Amell's enthusiasm for his character.
  • Yes, there is a scene in which scantily clad ladies dance to loud music while hot men yell and drink and stuff. But don't worry -- hero stuff happens around this time as well.
  • Executive producer Andrew Kresiberg calls Oliver Queen (aka, the Arrow) a "wastrel." I love this man.
  • Oliver got a little hairy after five years on that island.
  • Oliver's "mysterious agenda" involves a list of names. But who is on that list?
  • Strangely enough, the police are not exactly happy about a vigilante who goes around killing bad guys willy-nilly.
  • "Hello Laurel." The fact that I share a name with the female lead of this show is not why I like Arrow. But it sure doesn't hurt...
  • Just so you know, Tommy Merlyn is awesome. And he's not just the stupid best friend.
  • Moira, Oliver's mother, definitely has a Hamlet-esque story going on, having married Walter (a former business associate of her husband). Not that she murdered the late Mr. Queen or anything. She didn't. Queen died in the tragedy when Oliver was lost at sea.
  • Diggle is the bodyguard hired to protect Oliver Queen. As you might expect, he doesn't really need to do a lot of protecting.
  • "He's a hero, not a superhero." Ummm... Have you seen those abs? What is not super about that?

So do you want to watch Arrow now? You should. You really, really should.

Arrow premieres on Wednesday, October 10 at 8pm on The CW. Until then, check back here at BuddyTV and on Laurel Brown's Twitter account for the latest on the show.
