Army Wives kicked off this installment with some "Collateral Damage," which pretty much means something tragic for this Lifetime show. But that doesn't count the series' ratings and reviews though. It's been gaining plenty of success for the network ever since its debut, and this season's premiere is no different.
See More Videos and Clips from Army WivesOn "Collateral Damage," there was the aftermath of the gunshot fired in the home of Denise (Catherine Bell) and Frank (Terry Serpico). We all know the trouble that happened there, finally, but there's more of that to come on
Army Wives.
Even though it's Trevor and Roxy who are expecting a new baby on the show, one of the
Army Wives actresses is actually expecting a son this August. Catherine Bell talked to
People about having another baby, as well as how excited her 7-year-old daughter is about getting a little brother.
But what we're really hoping for is some
Army Wives scoop, which Catherine Bell was quick to provide. When asked about what we're hoping to see on season 4, she answered with a very enthusiastic revelation.
"Oh my goodness -- some intense drama. Very emotional!" she exclaimed. "The aftereffects of what's happened -- I cry a lot in the first five episodes!"
Despite all that though, it will all get better for her character. "Then things start looking up for Denise -- she gets back into the relationship with her husband and her friends and starts enjoying life again. Maybe riding a motorcycle again!"
She also told
TV Guide that there will be "twists and turns" coming soon, regarding the situation with her on-screen son Jeremy. Changes will come to Frank and Denise's relationship, which is definitely something that fans can take note of.
Meanwhile, we also have some details regarding Pamela. Actress Brigid Brannagh talked to
411mania about her crumbling marriage on
Army Wives, and what her character will be doing about it.
"At the end of last year Pamela and Chase were definitely at odds and I think I can tell you that Pamela takes a vacation," she said. "Pamela is definitely defining herself a lot more this season, that I can surely say. She's not running around being a football coach or doing 15 different jobs, she's finding some order in her life."
PHOTOS: See Your Favorites from Army WivesFrom what we're hearing about the
Army Wives, it sounds as though things will be working out for them eventually. Not to sound that optimistic, but the actors are pretty much telling us that their characters will pick themselves up after all the trauma they went through. It's not that surprising, but it will be refreshing to see how they'll deal with that on the upcoming episodes.
