Pressman portrays a sexy and independent mother of two boys who falls in love and marries Army Private First Class Trevor LeBlanc (Drew Fuller).  She struggles to adjust to the rules and the system of military life but finds a support system in the company of her fellow army wives.

Moreover, Pressman talked about how accurately the producers and directors of Army Wives try to represent life on an army base and mentioned that the whole cast and crew of the show have the highest regard for soldiers.

Pressman, who now takes her character's portrayal seriously, also admitted that before being cast on the program, she had never really thought about what a soldier's family goes through, especially in times of war.  One caller said that it was probably similar to what actors go through when they shoot on location, leaving their loved ones behind.  While Pressman agreed with the analogy, she remained humble, saying that being an actor and leaving a family was no comparison to being a soldier who has to leave a family.

Overall, Pressman revealed how happy she is that Army Wives is well received among viewers, as well as the military crowd.

Fans can catch Pressman, along with Kim Delaney, Brigid Brannagh, Catherine Bell, and Wendy Davis on Army Wives every Sunday at 10pm ET/PT on Lifetime.
