Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader, the game show which tests the knowledge of adults against the common knowledge of a fifth grader. The premise is a good one, the lovable Jeff Foxworthy is the host, and who doesn't like to see everyday humans get outwitted by 11 year old mini-humans. The catch is this: we got the chance to interview Cody, one of the fifth graders on Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader, and he's a smart dude. Really smart. When I was in fifth grade, well, I don't really remember fifth grade all that well, and I'm not very old. But, I know this: if someone tried to interview me, I'd be shaking in my boots. Not Cody, though.

Cody and his mom decided to audition when they saw the auditions announced and that was it. That easy. Cody is a math and science guy, if that's something you might be interested in.
Cody is good buddies with all his fifth grade brethren on the show. However, they don't really go out and party after the shows. No scandals on Fifth Grader.
Cody is a big fan of the CSI shows. I didn't know fifth graders were allowed to watch such shows. I'm a pretty liberal dude, but I don't think I'd let my hypothetical fifth grade child watch a show that prominently features dead hookers.
If you're wondering who is laughing maniacally in the background during the audio of the interview, it is none other that Mary Murphy, judge on So You Think You Can Dance. Then again, if you watch So You Think You Can Dance, you knew that already.
