Paul Popowich broadened his television exposure on the series
Angela’s Eyes. He portrayed the role of Jerry Henson, the younger brother of Angela who was often unreliable and involved with lowlifes. Throughout the series, he tried to clear his parents’ name as notorious spies, which generally strained his relationship with his FBI agent sister.
After
Angela’s Eyes, Popowich appeared as a guest star on shows like
Fatal Trust, The Best Years as the character Mick Templeton and on
‘Til Death Do Us Part in the episode entitled
Murder Mystery Weekend.
Popowich currently stars as Pete on the comedy series
The Roommate. Broadcast on Canada, Popowich stars alongside Alan Catlin, Jeff Kassel, Frank McAnulty, David Julian Hirsh, Jeremy Wright, Scott Montgomery and Christian Fairchild to name a few. Furthermore, he is slated to star on the television show entitled
I Me Wed, a romantic comedy produced by Jesse Prupas. The show follows the character Isabel Davies, played by
Erica Durance, who is a 30-year old single woman with a successful career. However, all her friends and family keep nagging her about dating and finding a husband. Eventually, she gets fed up with all the nagging and decides to marry herself. In an effort to get some peace and make a bold statement, she plans her wedding with the help of her gay friend Bill, played Thom Allison. However, she soon meets and discovers romance in a contractor’s handsome and smart son named Colin, played by Popowich. Now, she is torn between sticking to her convictions and following her heart. Scheduled for broadcast on July 29, 2007, the cast also includes Meaghan Rath as Tracy, Vlasta Vrana as Roy, Cara Pifco as Amy, and Thelma Farmer as Nancy Singer.
