Vincent Kartheiser got his break on television with his roles as Connor on the spin-off series
Angel. As the “miracle” human child of vampires, Angel and Darla, he possessed typical abilities of vampires, including superhuman strength, speed, recuperation, heightened sense and durability. He spent his childhood in Hell dimension and retuned to Los Angeles as a man raging in fury. Despite his being defeated by both Faith and Angel, he was considered stronger than most demons and vampires. Throughout the show, he was attracted to women like Sunny, Cordelia Chase, Faith Lehane, Tracy, and Illyria.
After
Angel, Kartheiser moved on to star in films like
Shakespeare’s Sonnets, a short drama in which he played the role of Sebastian. He also became part of the movie
Alpha Dog, a crime drama based on the life of Jesse James Hollywood, one of the youngest men on the FBI’s most wanted list. He played the role of Pick Giaimo, alongside Bruce Willis, Matthew Barry, Emile Hirsche, Justin Timberlake, and Shawn Hatosy. Furthermore, he played the lead character Michael in
Waning Moon, a drama-thriller about a man who struggles to deal with the death of his girlfriend.
Kartheiser has been cast as Pete Campbell on
Mad Men, a television series set in the 1960s that follows the men and women who work at the Sterling Cooper Advertising Agency. The pilot stars Darby Stanchfield, Christina Hendricks, Kiernan Shipka, and John Hamm. In the big screen, Kartheiser will appear in the movie
Barstool Words as Craig Blackshear, one of the lead characters in the film. The movie is a drama about a nasty prank that may have taken a deadly turn. Joining Kartheiser is Sarah Carter as Zelda Sparks, Geoffrey Arend as Terry Seville, and Colm Feore as Dr. Theodore Lenningrad.
Mad Men will premiere on Thursday, July 19 and air Thursdays 10/9c on AMC.
