On the
Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off
Angel, Christian Kane was known as the morally ambiguous lawyer Lindsey McDonald. He was introduced in the first episode of the show and was featured prominently in the story arcs of seasons 1, 2 and 5. As an attorney at Wolfram & Hart, he legally represented vampires, demons and evil humans, and aimed to kill Angel (
David Boreanaz) for the better part of the series. Due to an unrevealed mystical process, he became gifted with strength, speed, and endurance but unfortunately met his end at the hands of the Angel's sidekick demon Lorne. At present, the 33-year-old Texas native remains active in the music circuit, as well as in the movie industry.

Before the year ends, the former
Angel actor will be returning to the big screen with several horror-themed projects. He has already completed filming the psychological thriller
Hide, in which he stars as the main character Billy, and is currently preoccupied with yet another vampire mythos called
Death Walks the Streets, in which he also stars as the lead.
Apart from being an actor, he is also known as a country rock singer/songwriter. His band Kane, in which he serves as the frontman, is described to render a mix of country, rock and rockabilly. The band has released two successful independent albums and toured both the U.S. and Europe, and is now working on a studio album after signing a deal with RCA Nashville last year.
Following
Angel, Christian Kane further expanded his acting portfolio with his appearances in various films and television series. These included
Taxi, Friday Night Lights, Into the West and
Keep Your Distance. His most recent and notable appearance, however, was in the drama series
Close to Home, where he played Jack Chase for 20 episodes, alongside
Jennifer Finnigan.
