Nineteen-year-old
Amanda Eugenio hails from Peabody, Massachusetts and is a homebody type of person. She spends her Friday nights bonding with family rather than going out. Amanda wants to be an exemplar for the youth. She recently lost her brother and the incident all the more strengthened her goal of making a difference in other people's lives. Amanda believes that she'll have a chance to lead by example through the show. She also believes that being a prom queen doesn't necessarily mean being the most popular girl; she sticks to her idea that “you can be yourself and still be a prom queen.”
Amanda is one of the ten contestants on ABC Family's reality show
America's Prom Queen , where high school girls live together in a mansion and compete against each other in a series of challenges that will test their “prom queen mettle.” The contestants face weekly elimination rounds and attend a featured prom at the end of the show.
