America's Next Top ModelWe can finally wash our hands off of America's Next Top Model Cycle 11, as the winners have been announced and the series won't be returning anytime soon.  However, news has been buzzing that the New Zealand version of the reality series already pinpointed its hosts.  TV3 announced just yesterday that heading the NZ edition is one of the country's most influential and successful models – Sara Tetro.

The judging panel for New Zealand's Next Top Model will consist of photographer and former model Chris Sisarich, and model/actor Colin Mathura-Jeffree.  They will soon be uncovering new modeling talents in their country, scouring the New Zealand streets for someone who has what it takes to make it big.

Asked to comment about the upcoming task she's assigned to do, Sara Tetro revealed that she was truly excited about next year's venture.  “I'm really looking forward to getting to the different parts of the country and meeting girls who might normally think this is beyond their reach,” she said.

“I love hearing someone say 'my neighbor, friend or mum made me come along'.  These are the girls who might not realize they've got what we need,” added Tetro.

Auditions for New Zealand's Next Top Model are scheduled to begin in December, and will go on until January of next year.  The series will premiere some time in 2009.

Moving back to America, the CW network has announced that America's Next Top Model will be striding upon the catwalk for another season.  It was divulged that a 13th cycle is being discussed, set for release in fall of 2009.  The news surfaced upon the disclosure of The Tyra Banks Show being aired in the afternoons, also starting next fall.

The reality series has garnered much triumph throughout its run, with the Cycle 11 finale obtaining 4.8 million viewers.  It was actually up 21 percent from its previous week's season-high rating.  The episode also marked the show's largest audience since last year's finale.  Victorious as the most-watched series in the 8-9 p.m. hour among adults 18-34, America's Next Top Model has definitely surpassed numbers and expectations.  Next spring, we all wonder if Cycle 12 will outdo its predecessor when the series returns.
