19-year-old model Kara Vincent, a student from Fort Wayne, IN, had a unique look that turned the heads of America's Next Top Model viewers and judges alike, including host Tyra Banks, who lauded her strong features as some of the most promising this season, which cast only girls 5'7'' and under. Vincent flew all the way from Costa Rica to Chicago to attend a casting call for Cycle 13.

Last night, Kara was the sixth model eliminated from the competition after Tyra questioned her passion for modeling and consistency in photo shoots week to week.

I had the chance to have a quick chat with Kara this morning about her experience, and she shared some highs and lows from the competition, from her favorite fellow models and photo shoot to the poor performance in the ninja photo shoot that ended up sealing her fate.

Check out the transcript and audio from our interview after the jump.

This is Meghan from BuddyTV and I'm on the line with Kara from America's Next Top Model Cycle 13. How are you doing today?

I'm okay, yeah.

Well, congratulations on making it as far as you did. It's a big accomplishment. How are you feeling after it's all said and done?

Thanks. Yeah, I feel good about it. I've decided to move on, to try and model.

What made you decide to try out?

I was just really excited. I mean I always watch the show, and I heard that they were casting only for girls 5'7'' and under, so I really wanted to see if I could do it.

What was your favorite photo shoot that you did?

I think my favorite was our first photo shoot where we reenacted our baby pictures. It was really exciting because it was the first one, and all the girls were there, and we could watch everybody else's shoot from the studio, like upstairs. So it was really fun.

Did you have a least favorite photo shoot?

Definitely this last photo shoot. The ninja photo shoot was not so much fun.

What made you so uncomfortable with that shoot? Was it the weapons, or the harness?

Yeah, there was just so many different elements happening that I just couldn't really fit it all together, like what we were supposed to be doing. Like we did a training with our weapon, and then I think it just really confused me.

How about the challenges that you guys did? How did you feel about the go-see challenge?

Actually, I had a lot of fun. I felt like I did okay, but watching the show back, a lot of the clients didn't say such nice things about me. Me and Brittany actually got to four, and everyone else only got to three, so we thought we stood a better chance of winning, but... we didn't.

How did you feel about the way your personality was portrayed on the show?

I mean, obviously I said everything that they showed, and I did everything, but that wouldn't necessarily be the part of my personality I would like to highlight. Like, I don't know... everybody was gossiping, and everybody was saying things, but they just showed what I said. I said it, but there was definitely more to my experience than me sitting around, talking about Nicole.

Who were you really close with in the house?

I was really close with Jen. I love Jen best. But I was also really close to Sundai and Laura, and Lisa, but her time was kind of cut short.

Is there anything you wish you had done differently, looking back?

Uh, I don't know, it's hard to say exactly what I would have done differently, but I'm happy with how it ended up, so, I'm alright with it.

When you were eliminated, Tyra made a point that she thought your performances had been fading week to week. How do you feel about that statement?

I mean, definitely looking at this ninja photo, I'm not proud of it. It definitely was one of the weakest photos. But I felt kind of, I don't know, the week before we had a group photo shoot, and I felt like that wasn't actually my best photo that I was judged on. So I felt like I kind of got dealt a bad hand in that situation.

After you were eliminated, you said that you probably wouldn't have shown up if you knew you weren't going to win. Do you still feel that way?

No. I mean, when I said that it was right after I had been eliminated, and I was still really angry and sad, but now I am definitely really grateful for the experience, and I'm glad that I did it.

Now that you're out of the competition, who do you think should win?

I'm definitely rooting for Jen, I think she has what it takes. And if not Jen, then Laura. I think Laura has definitely a positive attitude, and her pictures are coming out gorgeous, so I think they both stand a good chance.

Are you going to continue modeling?

Yeah, I'm going to try to find an agency, and hopefully model.

Any last words for your viewers out there?

I don't know. I want to thank everyone for watching, and I hope nobody actually thinks I'm that vicious and hate Nicole that much, I guess!

I'm glad that you said that, and I'm sure that they'll understand it's a high-pressure situation.

Yeah, yeah, for sure.

Thank you so much and I wish you all the best!

Thank you.
