America's Next Top Model: Tyra Banks Launches 'Modelville'
Each week on the 11th cycle of America’s Next Top Model, the show has been updating fans on past contestants in a short segment that airs during the commercial breaks. The segment, called “Top Models In Action”, had already let viewers know how Toccara, Shannon, Lisa, Eugena, and Chantal are doing since appearing on the show. Though the former contestants have appeared in various magazines and runway shows, it’s hardly the life of a supermodel. It seems every model struggles once her CW stint ends, which is why Tyra is unveiling a new reality show that answers the question: What happens to the contestants once America’s Next Top Model is over?

Starting this Wednesday, The Tyra Banks Show will unveil its show within a show, called Modelville. Five former contestants will move into a New York City apartment while Tyra’s cameras follow their every move. Modelville will focus on the struggle of making it in the fashion world, post ANTM. The new roommates are Fatima Siad (Cycle 10), Dominque Reighard (Cycle 10), Lauren Utter (Cycle 10), Renee Alway (Cycle 8), and Bianca Golden (Cycle 9).  These five have been known to cause drama and tension in the Top Model house so expect a lot of catty fights right from the start!

Just like on Top Model, the girls will have to compete in a series of challenges along the way. The five models are getting a second chance to not only get some exposure (and hopefully, some work) but prizes, too! The winning model will become the new spokesmodel for beauty brand Carol’s Daughter and walk away with a contract worth $50,000!  The show will air in weekly segments, with the models not only dishing on their professional lives, but their personal lives as well.  It is reported that Modelville episodes will run on The Tyra Banks Show for the next two months.
