'America's Next Top Model' Rewind: Season 2
'America's Next Top Model' Rewind: Season 2
When cycle 2 of America's Next Top Model premiered in 2004, it was clear the show was here to stay.  Tyra made some changes to the show, getting rid of Kimora Lee Simmons and Beau Quillian as judges and bringing in Eric Nicholson and Nigel Barker, a fashion photographer who remains on the show to this day.  Janice Dickinson unfortunately would be sticking around for a little more time.  In cycle 2, the girls competed for a contract with IMG Models, a fashion spread in Jane magazine, and a cosmetics campaign with Sephora.

The show got off to a dramatic start, when the models' first shoot was in the nude.  Model Anna Bradfield refused to pose as went down as the first person eliminated.  Don't these girls know they're going to have to pose naked at some point?
America's Next Top Model is available on Amazon Prime.

Cycle 2 of America's Next Top Model certainly gave us some memorable moments that fans still talk about to this day.  One of the most famous episodes aired towards the end of the season, "The Girl Who Cheated".  In the episode, model Shandi Sullivan cheated on her boyfriend with a male model.  Overcome with guilt, she decided to call him on the phone while cameras rolled to capture every moment.  Her boyfriend understandably didn't take the news well and all of America listened as he cried, yelled, and then cried some more.

Winner Yoanna House did not have an easy time making it to the end, landing in bottom two twice during the season.  The first time was in the episode where the girls had to dance in Tyra's music video "Shake Ya Body" (which was painful for many reasons).  Yoanna's poor performance put her at the bottom but Tyra sent home Sara Racey-Tabrizi instead.  In the finale, she once again landed in the bottom two with Shandi for falling apart at judging but Shandi ended up heading home, leaving Yoanna to go up against Mercedes Scelba-Shorte.

Since winning America's Next Top Model, Yoanna House has gone on to bigger things.  She is currently the host of Style Network's The Look For Less, which airs Sunday nights.  She has also appeared in commercials for the CW network and walked in several runway shows.

The new cycle of America's Next Top Model kicks off next Wednesday and we'll take a look back at a different cycle each day leading up to the season premiere.  Post your favorite moments here and check back each day for a new Top Model Rewind!
