On tonight’s season finale of America’s Next Top Model, the remaining three girls met up with Jay Manuel to film a television commercial for Cover Girl as well as shoot a print ad. The winner of this cycle will have her ad on a billboard in Times Square. Anya began to crack under the pressure, crying in her makeup chair, worried that she wouldn’t perform well enough to get to the finale. Each girl struggled in the television commercial, despite the fact that they were given their scripts the night before. Fatima sounded robotic while Whitney and Anya had a hard time remembering what to say.

Each girl performed well in the beauty shot for Cover Girl and headed to panel immediately after. The judges felt that Whitney still felt fake, and more like a Miss America constant than a Top Model. They told Fatima to think about the words she’s saying and not just regurgitate them. Anya was told that she came across as stupid and was hard to understand in her commercial. Tyra shocked viewers by eliminating Fatima, and sending Anya and Whitney to the final runway show.

Anya and Whitney headed to shoot their Seventeen cover next. The winner will appear in the July issue of the magazine. Their final runway show featured designs by Versace, picked especially for them. Both gave strong performances in the fashion show and, as soon as it was over, headed back to panel in the clothes they were wearing in the show. The judges assessed their performance in the fashion show and felt that Whitney had a stronger walk but Anya had stronger poses. They put up photos of the girls side by side from each week’s shoots to see who has performed better throughout the season. Then, the girls had to wait outside while the judges made their final decision.

In a surprising finale, Tyra named Whitney the winner, the first full figured model to win the show.  Anya was gracious in her loss and said that this was just the beginning of her career.  On Friday, we'll talk to Whitney in an exclusive interview and next week, we'll catch up with Fatima and Anya to see what their future plans are!
