America's Next Top Model

On tonight’s episode of America’s Next Top Model, the girls received a runway lesson at a local firehouse. They were surprised to find out that they’d be walking in a high profile fashion show with some special guest judges. For their photo shoot, the girls headed to New York City’s meat packing district and posed with racks of beef.  You'll never guess who turned in strong photos and who struggled.  Read on for more details about tonight's episode of America's Next Top Model!

The girls headed to a New York firehouse for a little runway lesson with Miss J. They had a few seconds to change into sexy firefighter outfits. All of the girls made the change, except Fatima, who lost a little respect in Miss J’s eyes. The models showed off their walks and received lots of criticism, especially Lauren and Amis. Lauren had a hard time feeling comfortable with her body while Amis didn’t seem to take the runway lesson seriously.

The girls meet up with Bryan Bradley, a designer from Tuleh. They were surprised with the news that they would be walking in a Tuleh show and headed to get into hair and makeup. Andrew Weir, the runway show producer, also greeted the girls and brought in Ann Shoket, the editor-in-chief of Seventeen magazine and Jaslene Gonzalez, cycle 8 winner. Whoever wins the challenge tonight gets their picture in Seventeen with Jaslene. The girls’ mission was to get dressed quickly, as they had to do so without any help. Katarzyna wins the challenge and chooses Amis and Marvita to share her prize with her.

In the meat packing district, the girls find out that they'll not only be posing with meat but they'll be wearing it.  Claire, Anya, and Marvita pulled off some strong performances.  Lauren and Dominique surprised everyone by turning in some great frames as well. Stacy-Ann struggled a little with taking direction as did Fatima.  Back at the house, Amis rubbed the girls the wrong way when she slept late and threw on some sweats before heading to panel.

In panel, Whitney and Anya wowed the judges but Stacy-Ann and Aimee disappointed them.  Claire, usually a strong model, did not turn in a great performance and neither did Fatima or Marvita.  Despite a horrific runway walk in the challenge, Lauren pulled off an extremely strong photo.  The judges even liked Amis, but could have done without her choice of attire. 

Tyra calls Anya first followed by Whitney, Katarzyna, Claire, Dominque, Stacy-Ann, Lauren, Marvita, and Aimee.  Fatima and Amis land in the bottom two.  Tyra felt that Amis didn't have the right attitude for the competition and didn't seem to really want this.  As for Fatima, Tyra felt that she wasn't fully modeling and wondered if she was more than just a pretty girl.  Fatima gets another chance and Tyra eliminates Amis.  This week, Amis will talk to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview.  Don't miss it!
