'America's Next Top Model' Cycle 7 Winner Talks Tyra Banks
'America's Next Top Model' Cycle 7 Winner Talks Tyra Banks
America's Next Top Model has suddenly become notorious in terms of its budget cuts, mercilessly firing anyone who could be a casualty to their finances.  Since the recent forced departure of judge Paulina Porizkova from the show, former associates of the reality competition have decided to speak up.

A few days ago, there was Janice Dickinson who expressed her sentiments regarding America's Next Top Model host Tyra Banks.  It made everyone wonder what the host really was like behind the cameras - whether she's the type to fire at will and take the money or if she really suffers from punctuality issues as Paulina said.  To find out, let's hear the thoughts of those who've experienced Tyra firsthand.

CariDee English, who won the 7th Cycle of America's Next Top Model, was interviewed by E! Online during Maxim's Hot 100 Party.  She told the publication just what she really thought about the fashion-famous Tyra Banks.

"I don't see Tyra as a model," English remarked.  "I can only see her as a mom."

While it seems rather unlikely to imagine Banks as such, CariDee English continued to explain.  "She really has been a mentor to me.  We keep in touch and talk a lot.  She's just this protective role model."

Well it doesn't seem as though she acted the same way when she allowed the show to be affected by recession.  Paulina and Janice's comments seem truly harsh as compared to CariDee's.  But then again, Tyra doesn't really treat her Top Model babies and the judges the same way.

"She really has transformed herself into this media mogul," CariDee English went on.  "I think she'll do great things."

The Cycle 7 champion might not exactly see Tyra as someone developing her own fashion empire, but the Top Model host really has been taking control.  She's slowly moving on to bigger projects, and it would be wise to not step on anyone along the way.  But with Paulina fired and Janice still holding a grudge, it actually sounds like too late to make amends.
