It's down to the fierce final four on Cycle 12 of America's Next Top Model: Allison, Aminat, Celia and Teyona. And what a final four it is! While it's certainly not the last girls we predicted would be standing, Tyra has stacked the end of the competition with the edgiest final four in the history of America's Next Top Model. None of the remaining models scream Cover Girl or Seventeen magazine, which is sure to make the last two episodes of the cycle fascinating. With just one elimination standing between the girls and the finale, the competition is more intense than ever.

This week, the girls will be photographed by Tyra herself. In a change from her traditional black and white beauty shots, Tyra is photographing the girls as avant garde avians in celebration of the exotic birds of Brazil. The first clip for this week is all about how Paulina thinks that Celia is too old to model and how her desperation to get in the fashion industry is "not cute." Thanks for that Paulina. Paulina offers Celia zero constructive criticism, just as the judges offered no constructive criticism to "too fat to model" London and "too short to model" Fo. If Celia's age (and Fo's height) was going to be such an insurmountable issue, they shouldn't have been chosen to participate in the show. However, now that they have been, it's lame (to say the least) to criticize them for things that the girls can't change.





Next up, is a clip of Tyra shooting Aminat. This may be the biggest waste of an ANTM promo clip of all time. Basically, Tyra almost falls and says she would have died taking Aminat's photo if need be. Way to over-dramatize it Tyra! Still, Tyra saying she would die for a photo of Aminat has us wondering: would she die because Aminat was so amazing to photograph or because she had to work so much harder to get a good shot? As we all know, if Aminat has a mediocre photo this week, she's a likely candidate for elimination.
 




Lastly is a clip of Tyra photographing Celia. Celia looks like a crazy beautiful high fashion bird and she and Tyra really seem to have connected during the photo shoot. Tyra tells Celia that she got to see "the other side of Tyra" and Celia is moved to tears by how wonderful her photo shoot with Tyra was. Hopefully Celia's photo shoot wasn't just a wonderful experience, but also produced a wonderful photo. Just like Aminat, if Celia doesn't take a stellar photo this week, she could easily be the girl sent packing.
