5. Marjorie and Elina Are European, Dammit!
Apparently, if you're not a person who expresses their emotions in the
Top Model house, you're going to get crap for it. Such is the case with Marjorie and Elina, who blame the fact that they're closed off on the fact that they're European. Neither gets any sympathy from the other girls in the house, and Samantha bluntly asks: "Didn't you come here when you were like eight?" Apparently, that was the wrong question to ask as both Marjorie and Elina are offended by it. In her interview with BuddyTV, Analeigh said that she never wanted to fight just for the sake of fighting in front of the cameras. I wish some of the other girls in the house this season felt the same way.
4. Marjorie Can't Find Her Go-Sees
Marjorie looked to be a frontrunner this season but unfortunately, the person who didn't see that was Marjorie. She constantly froze in panel, let her nerves get the best of her in various situations, and beat herself up on a daily basis. In Amsterdam, this season's international destination, Marjorie had a tough time finding her go-sees and couldn't seem to pull herself together in order to make it to most of her appointments. At the end of the day, she only made it to 2 appointments but didn't book either.
3. ShaRaun IS America's Next Top Model
In the first round of
America's Next Top Model this season, the girls were given a special opportunity. They would be able to sit down with each of the judges and make a lasting first impression. ShaRaun did just that, but unfortunately, it wasn't a good one. Her arrogance and fake personality turned just about everyone off. Though she said in her interview that she was just taught to go after what she wanted with confidence, the judges didn't see it that way and she became the first model eliminated from the competition.
2. Samantha Shows What Her Mama Gave Her
Fairly early on this season, the girls were given their first runway challenge - with a twist. They would be blindfolded as they walked in a Jeremy Scott show. When Samantha was practicing, she accidentally lifted up her dress and was seriously discouraged from doing so in the show. When it came time for the runway challenge though, she lifted it up again and was reprimanded in panel for it. Samantha landed in the bottom two and was lectured by both Tyra and Jeremy himself. In her interview with BuddyTV, she said that she apologized to Jeremy Scott personally and regrets it to this day.
1. Hannah Shoves Isis In The Pool
For as many people that were happy about Isis being the first transgendered finalist of
America's Next Top Model this season, there were an equal amount of people who felt she didn't belong there. Some of the girls she competed against and shared a house with did not feel that she should be in the competition, especially considering that physically, she was still a male. Some of her biggest opposers were Clark and Hannah. When the girls relaxed in the pool after a long day of photo shoots, Isis unknowingly backed up into Hannah, who became severely uncomfortable and shoved her. This prompted a debate between the girls in the house as to whether or not Hannah was prejudiced since many girls felt she not only had a problem with Isis but with the black girls in the house too. It brought Hannah to tears, who felt she was more sheletered than prejudiced. The fight couldn't last too long as she was eliminated soon after.
