Well it turns out I couldn't have been more wrong in my picks last week for who would be going home and who would be safe on America's Next Top Model
. I had thought that Sheena
would be safe for quite a while, and look how well that turned out. I'm not making any predictions about the election Tuesday as the American public can be as difficult to read as Tyra Banks
But it's my job to try to suss out what could happen this week on America's Next Top Model
, and so let's makes some guesses!
The listing for this week's episode has the girls traveling by boat to various modeling appointments and also teases that one girl “screams at the judges.”
Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the scream at the judges isn't the girl losing her cool, but is either Elina
being challenged by the judges to lose control or show greater emotion (respectively). I could be dead wrong (again), but that's the kind of thing acting teachers do to try to loosen up tight students, and I could see Tyra making either of those two do it.
I hope it really is someone going bananas, though. That would be more interesting than what I'm thinking!
As for how the go-sees could affect things, it's hard to see any of the girls as safe in that venue. Marjorie
is a bundle of nerves. Elina's stoic reserve could come across as poise, but she might almost seem prickly too. McKey also could come across as poised, but she is sometimes a little awkward too in a way that might not go over well with the designers. Samantha
is energetic and spirited, but as commenter LeslieRuben2 pointed out in the Best and Worst article from last week, her fashion ignorance could be a hindrance. I just momentarily forgot who the remaining girl was in the competition, which is a bad sign, but from a personality perspective, I think Analeigh
is most likely to charm the designers. I still wonder if her look is high fashion enough to excite designers.
We'll see the results tomorrow on America's Next Top Model
