is a force to be reckoned with. The America's Most Smartest Model
runner-up is constantly true to himself and refuses to compromise his principals. In part 1 of BuddyTV's exclusive interview with Andre Birleanu
, we discussed the recently dismissed charges of sexual assault against him.
In part 2, we talked more about his future, his career and his thoughts on modeling and acting. Fans of America's Most Smartest Model
undoubtedly recall Birleanu's devotion to his craft and his belief that models are much more than just pretty faces. Here he talks about his time on the show, how people perceive him, and his thoughts on actors taking over magazine covers and modeling jobs. Continue reading for the highlights of this wildly entertaining interview and to listen to it.
-Regarding his time on America's Most Smartest Model, Andre only regrets not simply walking away from the show before the final result. He proudly boasts that he'd already become the star and that he is well known while no one remembers the winner, VJ Logan. However, Andre is still more than thankful and appreciative that VH1 and the show's creators stood by him.
-While Andre believes that some of his wild antics were taken out of context, he doesn't apologize for who he is, acknowledging that everything fans saw on America's Most Smartest Model was his doing, though some things may have been taken out of context.
-Andre also went off on the fact that actors are taking over the jobs of models, which got him quite upset. He took particular issue with Queen Latifah modeling for Cover Girl. Birleanu believes modeling is a specific talent and he gets offended when magazine covers feature actors who are stealing his jobs.
-He continued the anti-actor tirade with a detailed explanation of how he plans to do the same thing by taking over the world of film and television, busting down the doors and embarrassing the acting world by one day accepting an Academy Award dressed in nothing but a towel.
-Finally, though there won't be a season 2 for America's Most Smartest Model, nor will Birleanu be coaching anyone on MTV's MADE, he does look forward to doing something with VH1, and he is quite open to the idea of a celebreality dating show a la Flavor of Love.
For a title, might I suggest From Russia with Love. It's a tad obvious, but when Andre eliminates girls, he must say, “Dasvidanya.” Then he enjoys a shot of vodka with the remaining women. From there, the show really writes itself. Plus, it would be refreshing to have a reality dating show with a guy you can honestly believe female contestants want to have sex with.
