Angela Hart made it all the way to the final three of
America's Most Smartest Model. But ultimately, Mary Alice Stephenson just felt she was not as strong of a model as
Andre Birleanu and
VJ Logan.
Mary Alice didn't send her off, though, without remarking on Angela's musical abilities. They all had learned just how talented Angela really was as a singer and performer, and the
America's Most Smartest Model judge was “blown away” by her voice.
Angela didn't win the
America's Most Smartest Model competition, but she is probably hoping that she can turn her exposure from the show to her advantage in either career. From her own words on her website, however, it would appear that in her heart, she really wants one career more than the other.
Angela obviously loves modeling, saying, “Modeling puts me in a situation I can feel beautiful and let go. When I see myself in the clothes, the hair and make up, and how I get to present myself and or the product I'm selling, I get this high that I can't really describe. I feel very glamorous and the hard work feels very worth it.”
However, she also says, “I have loved being in front of the camera and the runway, but even more than that I have loved recording and being on stage.”
She also calls singing her “ultimate passion” and says, “I still remember at what age I started writing down what I felt, and I've always had one song or another leaving my mouth.”
So while the title and the cash weren't hers, Angela would appear to be continuing to reach for her goal. She says, “I've just always wanted to share what I feel and help make it easier or more realistic for someone who might be going through the same thing. When I'm singing what I believe and getting my thoughts out, there is this freedom that comes with it. To take something from a thought, idea, or feeling, to something solid that others can hear, feel or relate to, there's just no better feeling. It's at these times I really feel like I'm living my dream.”
