Singing prodigy Bianca Ryan became a household name when she won the first season of NBC’s America’s Got Talent
. As a contestant on the show, she repeatedly performed to standing ovations from the studio audiences, making her stand out from the rest of the contenders.
Following her victory on America’s Got Talent
, Ryan released her first self titled CD with Syco-Columbia records, which penetrated into the Billboard 200 at #57. Shortly, she released an EP entitled Christmas Everyday!, released as a promotional giveaway to Wal-Mart customers. She joined various artists in a Christmas performance for President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush at the National Building Museum for the benefit of the Children’s Medical Center. . She also performed at the Inaugural Ball for Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, together with other artists like Jon Bon Jovi and Mickey Rooney. Her success as a young performer eventually earned her a key to the city and her own “Bianca Ryan Day” on November 13 in Philadelphia.
At present, Ryan is preoccupied in promoting her album, gracing various events and city parades. She is scheduled to appear on several television shows over the next few months and will be going on a big tour across America this summer.
