First Winner of 'America's Got Talent' to Perform at NextFest Tour
Live Nation, the world’s largest live music company, has lined up today’s most popular youth celebrities to head their summer teen tour, NextFest.  Teen pop duo Aly & AJ, Corbin Bleu (High School Musical) and Drake Bell (Drake & Josh) will be joined by the first winner of America’s Got Talent, Bianca Ryan, in the said tour.

12-year-old Bianca Ryan became a household name when she successfully beat nine other finalists in the debut season of America’s Got Talent.  Her rendition of “I Am Changing,” a song from the Broadway musical, Dreamgirls, was enough to win the approval of the judges and the viewers’ votes.  She was proclaimed the first winner of the reality competition last August.

Following her win on America's Got Talent, Bianca Ryan went on to launch her self-titled debut album, entering the Billboard album charts at #57.  She was also featured in Wal-Mart’s 2006 promotional giveaway EP, Christmas Everyday!

For the NextFest tour, Ryan will go to 29 cities across the United States.  The tour will begin in Phoenix, Arizona on July 11, and will continue on to such areas as Los Angeles, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Miami, Atlanta, Raleigh, Boston and Detroit.  Fans can view the full list of dates and venues at Live Nation and Ryan’s official websites.

Aside from providing a nationwide musical extravaganza, the tour will also further promote several upcoming projects of the other featured youth celebrities.  Aly & AJ are preparing to launch their third album, Insomniatic, on July 10.  Their movie, Super Sweet 16, is due to hit theaters on July 8.

Bleu will be appearing in the highly-anticipated High School Musical 2, while Bell has been busy promoting his second album, It’s Only Time.  Bell will also star in Lions Gate/ Element Films’ College.

Tickets for the NextFest tour are currently available on Live Nation’s official website and other online ticket vendors.
