David Hasselhoff, one of the judges on America’s Got Talent, became disappointed when a video showing his intoxication surfaced the media. Surprisingly, the clip turned out to be a family affair, being shot by daughter Taylor Ann from former wife Pamela Bach.

Although Hasselhoff’s substance abuse were already the subject of the media in more than a few occasions, the videotape, which recently leaked, gave even more proof of his alcohol problem. The said clip showed the America’s Got Talent judge shirtless, lying on the floor, trying to focus on a Wendy’s hamburger while in a hotel room in Las Vegas. His daughter, who shot the video, can be heard saying, “Tell me you are going to stop, tell me you are going to stop.” In turn, Hasselhoff mumbles a “Yes.”

"I am a recovering alcoholic. Despite [the fact] that I have been going through a painful divorce and…have recently been separated from my children due to my work, I have been successfully dealing with my issue," Hasselhoff said Thursday after video was aired by Extra, Entertainment Tonight and The Insider.

"Unfortunately, I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse. Because of my honest and positive relationship with my children, who were concerned for my well-being, there was a tape made when I had a relapse to show me what I was like. I have seen the tape. I have learned from it, and I am back on my game. I hope that someone else will learn from the tape, as I have. I thank God for the love and concern from my children."

Hasselhoff, a 54-year old native of Baltimore, Maryland, was best known for his work on Knight Rider and Bay Watch. Previously, he starred in films like Click, A Dirty Shame, The New Guy, The Big Tease and Legacy among others.
