Xtreme Dance Force was one of the 10 crews selected out of 14 that auditioned Saturday during the special live auditions for the second season of America's Best Dance Crew.  Now, this group is stepping up to the challenge in attempt to win the $100,000 grand prize and to prove they have what it takes to become America's Best Dance Crew.

Consisting of hip-hop dancer Robert Lewis, 19, and six other guys, Xtreme Dance Force has made their debut on America's Best Dance Crew wearing white shirts and shoes, and dark blazers and jeans, which easily distinguishes them from the rest of the groups on the competition.

“We're going for the whole boy-band look,” Lewis said in a telephone interview with rrstar.com.  “We want to let everybody know that you don't have to be from the streets to do hip-hop.  You don't have to wear baggy clothes.”

While they may have already made a sharp statement from their overall look, they claim they have more to offer.

“We have sharp movements, and we are more about big movements.  We like to hit the beat as hard as we can,” he said.

Fans can catch Xtreme Dance Force and the rest of hopefuls of America's Best Dance Crew, which premieres its second season on June 19 at 10pm on MTV.  Hosted by Mario Lopez, the competitive reality series follows dance crews from all over the United States as they try their best to impress the judges, consisting of rapper Lil' Mama, former NSYNC singer JC Chasez, and hip-hop choreographer Shane Sparks, as well as the viewers who will determine who among them will become America's Best Dance Crew.  Each week, the dance crews will demonstrate their most innovative choreography and dance skills as they are asked to recreate the moves seen in the hottest music videos, use their fancy footwork to reenact their favorite movie scenes and pay homage to the classic grooves of the past.
