British TV personality Layla Kayleigh may be busy as the backstage correspondent of America's Best Dance Crew, but she'll be busier in the months to come. People.com has confirmed that the star is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Steven Covino, a radio personality. They're hoping to greet the newborn later this year, supposedly in November.
Layla Kayleigh talked to the publication and told them that her pregnancy has so far been "really good." While we wish them all the best, she couldn't help but think about how this is going to affect her stint on America's Best Dance Crew. Could the excitement of having a baby overpower the show's thrilling new installment?
"It's going to be an interesting season for me," Layla Kayleigh admitted. She even joked that she's been playing mother to many of the contestants on the show. She referred to herself as "being mama bear" to the competitors because she couldn't stop feeling like she needed to "protect the crews."
The 25-year-old Kayleigh has been with partner Steven Covino for about three years. Both of them are well-known in the hosting circuit, as he is one-half of the duo for the SIRIUS/Maxim Radio program
Covino and Rich.Layla Kayleigh, meanwhile, has had quite a career in television. Aside from her work on
America's Best Dance Crew,she appeared in the pilot episode of
Royal Pains. She has also hosted the
World Poker Tour's sixth season, and was once a correspondent for Al Gore's
Current TV. She's been seen on MTV's
Punk'd, as well as on The Best Damn Sports Show Period on Fox Sports Net. Kayleigh was also the main host of the segment known as "The Feed" on G4's
Attack of the Show!Now that she's expecting her first baby, it's no doubt this television personality will have her hands full. Even so, she's ready to return as the co-host of
America's Best Dance Crew when it returns this August on MTV.
