Janet Jackson night on America's Best Dance Crew begins with all the remaining dancers doing a group performance to “Rhythm Nation.” Wow, Eva Longoria is in the audience and is incorrectly identified without the proper hyphenate. This show must be quite the hot ticket, which makes me even more excited that I'll be visiting the set on Tuesday as part of the Television Critics Association press tour. Hopefully I'll pick up a move or two from Super Cr3w.

THE TOP 3

Fanny Pak – “All Nite (Don't Stop)”
They're back to their '80s outfits and the routine is very sensual with lots of rubbing in all the right places. Mario Lopez likes it cuz it's nasty, and Shane Sparks feels like he was in an orgy, taking a special moment to slo-mo a lesbian kiss.

Supreme Soul – “Nasty”
There's a whole lot going on with these cocky guys, and some of it's nice but some of it seems a little messy to me. Lil' Mama loved the separation of the tricks and the skill involved with some of the details. JC Chasez didn't think it was nasty enough and Shane isn't that impressed either because they didn't blow him away, which is what he wants from every single performance now that they're in season 2.

Boogie Bots – “Control”
They're coming off a difficult week where one member messed up, so they're out for redemption. It's a pretty enjoyable bit of popping and locking. JC liked but didn't love it and only enjoys the robotic parts. Shane loves a cool part at the end where they do a tableau of the evolution of man, ending with a robot.

4th PLACE

SoReal Cru – “I Get Lonely”
Things are getting even sexier with this routine. There are chairs, men's heads in women's crotches, and other bits that make Fanny Pak look like a church group. Lil' Mama didn't think it was trashy in spite of the gratuitous use of whipped cream. JC defends their lesbian eroticism by essentially calling football players gay.

THE BOTTOM 2

Somehow, the bottom two are two of the best crews left on this show, which is painful. By my judgment, they should be in the final three alongside Fanny Pak, but here we are.

Super Cr3w – “Black Cat”
The b-boys are going to try to do more “choreography.” They deliver with all choreography interspersed with some amazing stunts, including one where the guys flip one member around by his limbs. It's basically just as awesome as you could imagine.

A.S.I.I.D. – “If”
They hit it hard and do some fantastic chair stunts. This is incredibly unfair, because as far as I'm concerned, this was the second best performance of the night, but unfortunately the best was the other crew in the bottom.

Lil' Mama liked individual moments from A.S.I.I.D. but didn't think the whole thing meshed. JC loved the fact that Super Cr3w did real choreography. He also compares this to a finale, which it totally is.

As expected, A.S.I.I.D. is sadly sent home from America's Best Dance Crew.  And so it is done for them, but they did nothing wrong, it was just the bad luck of the voting that put them in the bottom against the frontrunner.

Next week on America's Best Dance Crew: I should have plenty of scoop for you the day before as I'll be hanging out in the crew garage on Tuesday on a mission to find out what I can about the final five.
