American Ninja Warrior is about to put several celebrities to the test with its punishing and difficult obstacle course. NBC revealed that on Thursday, May 25 at 8/7c, a special celebrity edition of the Emmy-nominated competition series will air and the cast includes a superhero, athletes, comedians and a professional dancer.

Celebrity 'Ninja Warrior' to Feature 'Arrow' Star Stephen Amell and 'DWTS' Pro Derek Hough

Arrow star Stephen Amell will be among the celebrities taking on the course to see if he has what it takes to be an American Ninja Warrior. Anyone who follows Amell on social media knows that he’s wanted to do this show for a while and he regularly posts his extensive workout routines that he does for his CW drama.

Also competing is Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough, who will also be a judge on NBC’s upcoming competition series World of Dance. The rest of the celebrity line-up includes Parenthood‘s Erika Christensen, Today co-host Natalie Morales, Olympic decathlete Ashton Eaton, New York Yankees player Nick Swisher, actress Mena Suvari and comedians Nikki Glaser and Jeff Dye.

The episode will feature the celebrities being trained for the difficult obstacle course by Nina Warrior All-Stars including Kacy Catanzaro, Jessie Graff, Kevin Bull and Flip Rodriguez.

Are you excited to see what Amell, Hough and the other celebs can do? Which one will do the best (probably the Olympic decathlete, right)?

Celebrity American Ninja Warrior
will be a one-hour special that kicks off Red Nose Day for NBC, an annual tradition that helps raise money for children’s charities.
