If you want to put money on who will win American Idol season 11, Phillip Phillips is your best bet, literally. Online gambling site Bovada.lv has set odds on this season’s Top 13 on American Idol, and Phillips is the favorite to win at 7:2.

However, Jessica Sanchez is close behind him at 4:1 odds, followed by Colton Dixon, Elise Testone and Shannon Magrane. Bringing up the rear with the worst odds are wild card picks Jeremy Rosado, DeAndre Brackensick and Erika Van Pelt, as well as Jermaine Jones.

While Phillips isn’t my pick to win, I can’t argue with him as the frontrunner. I can easily see him taking the win, and he’s currently the leader in BuddyTV’s Idol winner showdown. However, I’m sticking with Colton Dixon.

The one thing I do find strange is how everyone is so optimistic about Jessica Sanchez. In my opinion, she has the best chance of getting Pia Toscano‘ed after one mediocre performance.

Though you might think being a frontrunner with Vegas oddsmakers is a good thing, it isn’t. Last year Lauren Alaina was the top pick during the Top 24, and once it was narrowed down, Pia Toscano became the odds-on favorite. While Alaina finished second, it was Scotty McCreery who won.

So what do you think of these odds? Are Phillips and Sanchez really the two to beat? Is Colton Dixon a wise investment at 7:1? Is Jeremy Rosado destined to be the first singer eliminated?

Find out when the American Idol Top 13 performs Wednesday at 8pm on FOX, followed by the results show Thursday at 8pm.
