THIS...will continue to be American Idol! Despite ratings woes and a busy schedule, original host Ryan Seacrest is staying with the reality singing competition, signing a new deal that will keep him around for two more seasons.

This news comes just days after he announced the renewal of Idol for season 14 on Wednesday's live show. While the judges have not officially been brought back, that seems inevitable since the show touted that three of season 14's audition cities will be the hometowns of Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick, Jr. and Keith Urban.

American Idol season 14 will begin its auditions on Wednesday, June 18 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, ending in late September. The Idol bus tour will also return to scour the country for hidden talent as well.

The ratings for American Idol have been in a steep decline, with some results shows this season dipping as low as 7 million viewers. However, with the cancellation of The X Factor, Idol is now FOX's sole source of singing competition again. Seacrest's new contract will most likely help the odds of the show getting a 15th season as well.

Here's a rundown of the audition cities for American Idol season 14:

-Wednesday, June 18: Minneapolis, Minnesota at Mariucci Arena, University of Minnesota

-Wednesday, June 25: New Orleans, Louisiana at Lakefront Arena, University of New Orleans

-Wednesday, July 23: Uniondale, New York at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum

-Wednesday, July 30: Nashville, Tennessee at Nashville Municipal Auditorium

-Monday, September 29: San Francisco, California at Cow Palace San Francisco
