Good news for Paula Abdul fans going into severe Paula-withdrawal. The former-American Idol judge dropped heavy hints this morning that she'll be returning to a small screen near you soon. On this morning's Johnnjay and Rich Show, Paula said that her next project would involve a return to her roots and TV.

Paula wouldn't give specifics, but when asked for a clue on her next project she responded, "Drop a clue? Oh, I'm gonna be going back to my roots and doing a TV show that has something to do with my roots."

In her usual convoluted Paula speech she said that her return to television would also involve "doing some teaching on television in that kind of capacity." And Paula promised that she'll be the one to break the news of her return to TV. Perhaps a Twitter announcement like her decision to leave Idol?

If Paula is returning to her roots and to TV, one has to wonder if she'll be joining one of TV's popular dance shows as a mentor or judge. Dancing With the Stars did just lose Samantha Harris as a host and as we well know, So You Think You Can Dance has been eager to recruit Paula since she left American Idol. What show would you be most excited to see Paula on?
