OK, so vocally, this wasn't the worst performance of the season. Not by a long shot.  However, it was the worst mutilation of a classic song I've ever seen.  To turn a classic Beatles pop song into hillbilly country ditty is an abomination.  I've never been as visibly angry and offended during American Idol as I was after Cook performed "Eight Days a Week."  Whether it was the performance of the season or not is arguable.  But, it was far and away my least favorite performance of the season.
