Brooke White had to play the part of introspective singer/songwriter to come off as believable.  When she strayed from that, the results were often disastrous.  No one on American Idol this season had such a large discrepancy between their best and worst performances.  This first disaster occurred during Beatles week.  Her rendition of "Here Comes the Sun" was far too cheery (yellow sun dress?  really?) and I advise to watch her spin move, then listen to her impromptu and ill-advised "Whoo!" without shaking your head in disgust.  Also, she cannot dance.
