When compiling this list, there was a song from early in the season that I knew I loved, thought was unheralded, but couldn't remember it.  Not until I read the BuddyTV user comments did I remember David Hernandez's one shining moment from early in the season.  Before he was outed as a male stripper, he gave a great R&B rendition of this classic Temptations tune.  He does the same sort of vocal gymnastics that Archuleta does, which can irk me, but here he rocks it.  Hernandez sang in tune better than anyone this season, and this performance was money.
