Michael Sarver and Anoop Desai are summoned.  One of these two will make the Top 12 here.  My prediction is Anoop, but it could very well be Michael.  Anoop Desai is not in the top 12.

Sometimes, America, I just don't understand you.  Michael performs a little more mediocrity.

Wow - out of the 24 million votes, only 20,000 separated Anoop and Sarver.  Which either means that Anoop will get that third slot, or the top two girls got more votes than the top two guys.  So - it's probably Tatiana in the Top 12, as crazy as that is.  Actually, scratch that - it's most likely that Sarver was the second place guy and Danny Gokey is also in the Top 12.

To waste some time, we get footage from last week's unveiling of the American Idol Experience in Orlando. 

Michael Johns and Carly Smithson are brought to the front of the stage.  Nice.  Michael Johns, I still contend, was the best pure singer on last season.  Fun fact: Carly wears a weave.  Michael has an album coming out in May.  They sing "The Letter," and Carly still, a year later, inexplicably annoys me.  Michael is still good. 

Anne Marie Boskovich is told to just stand up, and do nothing else.  Brent Keith stands up.  Stevie stands up as well.  None of these people will make it.  Anne Marie is not in the Top 12.  Brent is not in the Top 12.  Stevie is not in the Top 12.

And it comes down to Danny Gokey and Tatiana del Toro.  If Tatiana goes through instead of Danny, there will be riots.  Tatiana is already drama queening it up.  She can't even talk.  Danny glares at her likes she's a hobgoblin about to eat his firstborn.  Paula supports Danny.  The results are coming after the break.  Cruelty, thy name is Seacrest.

Here, finally are the results...Tatiana is not in the Top 12.

DANNY GOKEY IS IN THE TOP 12.

Tatiana is crying, I think, not taking this very well.  Danny sings for us now, once more very well.  We still don't know who the fourth place singer was, or who will be singing next week.  Tatiana is openly weeping now.

Next week's singers will be: Megan Corkrey, Kris Allen, Mishavonna Henson, Matt Breitzke, Allison Iraheta, Matt Giraud, Jasmine Murray, Kai Kalama, Jesse Langseth, Adam Lambert, Jeanine Vailles and Nick Mitchell.
