Over the past month there have been many Music Battles between The Voice and American Idol. They've done Adele, Whitney Houston and Tina Turner, but this week is quite possibly the hardest one yet.

The Voice runner-up took on James Brown's iconic "It's a Man's Man's Man's Wolrd" in the semifinals and absolutely killed it. It was quite possibly the best performance of the entire season. Nothing could come close to it.

But then, this week, American Idol's gospel king Joshua Ledet tackled the song, and it earned him yet another standing ovation from the judges, who declared it one of the best performances of any singing competition ever (which may have been a comment directly aimed at The Voice's cover of the same song).

To be honest, it's almost impossible to compare these two versions. The gender difference makes them both quite different in terms of impact, but you can decide for yourself. Watch both amazing versions of the song then vote for your favorite.
