 Ace Young became part of American Idol season 5 with his witty talent and strong stage presence which positively gained him national recognition. Named one of People Magazine’s “Hottest Bachelors” of 2006, this American singer-songwriter and actor proves that he has what it takes to make it far in this industry.

Born on November 15, 1980, Bret Asa “Ace” Young was raised in Denver, Colorado. He started singing at the age of 9, training on voice lessons and performing at local shopping malls. Eventually, he preformed at different venues in Colorado and other western states. After graduating from Fairview High School, he opened for Brian McKnight and New edition and sung the national anthem at Denver Nuggets games as well. Later, he published his first song called “Reason I Live” which was featured in the movie The Little Vampire.

Young’s inclusion on the popular reality talent series American Idol season 5 ultimately exposed his thriving career. Despite finishing in seventh place in the hit show, he remains to be in the spotlight, flourishing with upcoming projects and events.
