July 10 was a big day for the celebrity wedding business.

American Idol winner Carrie Underwood and NHL player Mike Fisher were married at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Georgia, while across the globe, Office star John Krasinski and Devil Wears Prada actress Emily Blunt tied the knot in Italy.

And they weren't the only ones: former Bad Boy Martin Lawrence and MTV VJ Lala Vasquez also married their respective sweethearts this Saturday.

As for the ceremonies, People reports that Underwood wed "before 250 friends and family in a ceremony featuring classical music and the couple's favorite Bible readings." Those friends included her former Idol judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, according to RadarOnline.

"We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!" the couple wrote in a joint statement to People, signing as "Mike and Carrie Fisher." (Not to be confused with everyone's favorite Star Wars princess.)

Krasinski and Blunt wed just a week after John's Office on-screen wife Jenna Fischer married writer Lee Kirk in Malibu, in a ceremony that their co-star Rainn Wilson called "the most beautiful wedding I've ever experienced." No doubt Krasinski and Blunt's outdoor ceremony at Villa D'este in Como in Northern Italy rivaled that beauty.

US Weekly reports that Krasinski's Leatherheads co-star George Clooney was in attendance with his Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, and that the groom- and bride-to-be had been staying at Clooney's nearby Italian pad since the July 4th weekend.

In an uncharacteristic suspension of all sarcasm: Congratulations to the happy couples! Even you, Emily Blunt, you who have dashed my totally realistic hopes of marrying Jim Halpert one day.
