Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift Dominate CMT Music Awards
Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift were big winners at the 2009 CMT Music Awards, which recently wrapped up in Nashville.

Paisley took home three awards out of four nominations.  The video for his single "Waitin' on A Woman" took home Male Video of the Year, while the video for "Start a Band", his collaborative effort with Keith Urban, won Collaborative Video of the Year.  He also took home the CMT Performance of the Year award, along with Alan Jackson, George Strait and Dierks Bentley, for their performance of "Country Boy".

Swift, on the other hand, won two awards for her song "Love Story": it took home the top honor, Video of the Year, and also won Female Video of the Year, beating fellow nominees Martina McBride and former American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler.  It was the same as last year's awards, when she took home the same two awards for "Our Song".  Trey Fanjoy won the Best Director award for his work on the video.

Rascal Flatts went home with the Group Video of the Year award for "Every Day", and Kid Rock was named Wide Open Country Video of the Year for his track "All Summer Long".  Sugarland, which initially led with five nominations, won Duo of the Year for "All I Want To Do".  Zac Brown Band won the Breakthrough Video of the Year award for their track "Chicken Fried".

Among the highlights of the awards ceremony--the winners of which were decided through popular vote on the CMT website--was a skit involving Swift and the show's host Bill Engvall.  R&B singer T-Pain also made a surprise appearance, with a video showing him rapping with Swift.
