Katharine McPhee, who lost to Taylor Hicks last season on American Idol, is rumoured to be in the running for Joss Whedon's upcoming big-screen adaptation of "Wonder Woman". While she admits that she doesn't know whether this rumour is even true, McPhee, who calls herself "really business-savvy," says the role of the superhero would be "a huge mistake" for her first movie role. "I really want to make smart choices, and I don't think that would be a smart choice. A lot of times, regardless of whether you're a blockbuster actress, those kinds of movies fail." Other actresses rumoured to be in the running for "Wonder Woman" include Morena Baccarin, of Whedon's Firefly/Serenity. Baccarin is currently appearing on the Sci-Fi Channel's Stargate SG-1.
