'American Idol' Roundup: The Valentine's Day Edition, Featuring Jordin Sparks and Anoop Desai
Now, I'm not a believer in Valentine's Day--I'm more or less unlucky at love--but I won't play the grinch. On this extra special edition of the American Idol roundup, hearts day treats from Jordin Sparks and Anoop Desai, plus Adam Lambert in mourning, Carrie Underwood in production, and... a love team.

Happy hearts day from Jordin Sparks! Sorry. Heart just melted after watching her perform Martina McBride's "My Valentine"...

Happy hearts day from Anoop Desai! Here's something for my friend, the big Noopie fangirl: a quick take on Stevie Wonder's "I Just Called To Say I Love You" as he continues working on tracks for his new album.

Megan and Scott has something new for us! Megan released yet another song on her Facebook page: "Ryder on the Storm" is named after her son. Scott McIntyre, on the other hand, told a radio station that he'll be back on Idol to promote his new album, Heart Strings, which will be released on March 11.

Adam Lambert mourns Alexander McQueen. He talked to The Fab Life wearing a shirt from the British fashion designer, who was found dead last week of apparent suicide. "If you look at his fashions, they're just all inspiring," he remembered. "So much creativity. He takes it beyond just normal, everyday street wear and puts it into a place of theater and of high art, which I think is the coolest expression."

Carrie Underwood's busy at work.
We told you she's shooting the film Soul Surfer, about one-armed surfer Bethany Hamilton, played by AnnaSophia Robb. Now here are some photos, and it seems she's fitting the part of youth church leader quite nicely.

And finally... the love team I was talking about, yes. The Los Angeles Times did some snooping around and found out that season 9 contender Janell Wheeler is dating controversial Florida Gator quarterback Tim Tebow, who appeared on a controversial Super Bowl ad for a conservative Christian group. Hmmm.
