Safe:

Adam Lambert: The favorite to win it all.  No matter what he does, he's got a cushion of at least a few weeks.

Danny Gokey: Has a fan base and is consistently solid, if unspectacular.

Allison Iraheta: The fan base should be growing, and Allison is the best girl this season by a fair margin.

On the Bubble:

Kris Allen: Has been very good lately, but one slip up could put him in the bottom of the heap.

Matt Giraud:  Should be safe, but a surprise appearance in the bottom three last week places him firmly on the bubble.

Lil Rounds:  Once a favorite, Lil has provided a series of sub-par performances.


Death Watch - Updated:

Anoop Desai: Going first can't help, nor can the judges' indifferent reaction.

Megan Joy: Despite her best performance in weeks, the judges still weren't feeling her.  Probably the favorite to be eliminated tonight.

Scott MacIntyre: Even though the judges' liked what they saw, it was still the same ol' crap from Scott.  He's in danger.
