Are you ready for some more
American Gladiators? The NBC revival of the brutal reality competition show will premiere its second season on Monday, May 12 at 8pm with a two hour premiere. After that,
American Gladiators will settle into its Monday 8pm time slot with 90-minute episodes. Gladiators averaged around 10 million viewers per episode in its first season, making it NBC's most successful new show of the 2007-2008 television season. Gladiators will be one of six reality shows to grace NBC's summer schedule.
Your Take

Okay guys and gals, last season was a pretty cool experience with injuries, altercations and some pretty ho...
In addition to Gladiators, the other five shows are:
Last Comic Standing: The sixth season of comedian reality show will debut on Thursday, May 22 at 9:30pm.
Nashville Star: The country version of
American Idol will make its NBC debut on Monday, June 9 at 9:30pm, pairing with
American Gladiators on Mondays.
Celebrity Circus: The self-explanatory reality series will debut on Wednesday, June 11 at 9pm.
America's Got Talent: The biggest summer reality series on network television will debut it's third season on Tuesday, June 24 at 9pm.
The Baby Borrowers: NBC's most egregiously exploitative reality series (in which young couples will steal another couple's child and do their best rearing job in front of prying television cameras) will debut on Wednesday, June 25 at 8pm.
This reality summer line-up from NBC is, I suppose, a formidable one, but I'm not sure if I'll be tuning in to any of them. Perhaps I'll give
America's Got Talent a shot, if only because I kind of enjoy
Piers Morgan after watching him on
Celebrity Apprentice this season. I will not be watching
Baby Borrowers under any circumstances, though
Celebrity Circus sounds so ridiculous that I might be forced to give it a shot. As for
Last Comic Standing, I've watched a few episodes here and there and was not impressed with the talent on that show. Maybe they'll find a diamond in the rough this season.
Which NBC summer reality show are you most looking forward to?
