American Dad spoilers.
Created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman,
American Dad is an animated series that follows the adventures of Stan, the patriarch of the Smiths who works for the CIA, and his encounters with the members of his household consisting of stereotypical trophy housewife
Francine, his ultra-liberal daughter
Haley, his intellectual son
Steve, talking gold fish
Klaus, and the sarcastic alien
Roger, not to mention his efforts to enforce safety for his country.
In the sixth episode of the season 3, Francine's Chinese adopted parents drop by the Smiths' home for an announced stay. This makes Stan annoyed and furious since they refuse to take in his “man of the house” ways. After many unsuccessful attempts to give them the boot, he decides to search for Francine's birth parents, hoping it will set things right.
Another spoiler for this episode is that socially inept Steve attempts to live to the edge in order to get to second base with the class hottie.
Guest starring in "Big Trouble in Little Langley" are
Holland Taylor and Jeff Perry, who will be providing the voice of Francine's birth parents. Taylor is an Emmy Award-winning actress known for her television, film and theater work. She is popularly known for her roles on
Bosom Buddies in which she played Ruth Dubar, on
The Practice as Roberta Kittleson and on
Two and a Half Men as Evelyn Harper.
As for Perry, he is most recently known for playing Terrence Steadman on the critically-acclaimed series,
Prison Break, and as Thatcher Grey, Meredith Grey's father on
Grey's Anatomy.
American Dad airs every Sunday at 9:30/8:30c on FOX.
