American Body Shop

Peter Hulne

American actor Peter Hulne was born on September 22, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up with his identical twin Patrick, and often entertained the family with his gags and impressions. With a love of performing in high school productions and focusing on improvisation, he later graduated from Columbia College with a B.A. in Advertising Art and a minor in Theater. He since went on to appear in several films such as Elf, Anchorman, Celtic Pride, and Employee of the Month. Peter Hulne has also played roles on television series such as All of Us and Scrubs. In his free time, he enjoys being on the basketball court and tinkering with his '66 Thunderbird.

Sam is portrayed by Peter Hulne in Comedy Central's new show American Body Shop.
Already divorced twice and hoping that owning the body shop would help him find some sort of success, he instead finds himself sinking even more into debt and having to head a crew of overgrown grease monkeys. Struggling to learn finance and business via marketing books and motivational tapes, he's actually smart and articulate, though it doesn't help in communicating with the rest of his employees. Sam remains the voice of reason, and trying to keep the shop from closing down is his full-time headache.
