Nick Offerman

Nick Offerman is an American television and film actor born on June 26, 1970 in Ottawa, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a BFA in Theater, and co-founded the Defiant Theater in Chicago. Aside from acting onstage in productions such as The Kentucky Cycle, he also builds scenery and props, designs makeup, choreographs fight scenes, and creates special effects. Nick Offerman has had roles in the movies Sin City, Patriotville, Miss Congeniality 2, and Treasure Island. He's also appeared in TV shows such as Gilmore Girls, 24, Deadwood, Will & Grace, CSI: NY, and The Practice. He enjoys hiking and woodwork in his spare time.

Rob is portrayed by Nick Offerman in the television comedy American Body Shop. Though he fancies himself a genius who can create useful items from everyday objects, a la MacGyver, his designs often fail or break down with disastrous results. He's been known to excel in shop subjects while failing all others, and has built sets for school plays that often left the cast seriously injured. He's also addicted to hookers, and has a half-Asian son named Klevon (whom Rob believes is gay) from a careless encounter wherein the condom was broken. Because of this, he tries to be the voice of tolerance, but is often preoccupied with working on his self-proclaimed next great invention.
